I am through the divorce, and was not even going to, and now am married again. Anyways, I have four kids and I love my life. Ivy and I are still friends, as it was a battle for power of the company, and I just walked away. Started over, and have several educational sites. Hope you and Sharon are doing well. Hot summer in Texas. Robert Young :-) WILDMAN!

There is some good news. The Geoids program that comes with GNSS Solutions can be used even without a hardware lock. Get the latest version of GNSS Solutions from the ftp server at Check out the FAST Survey application notes for some extra help.

Merry Christmas!

i recommended and used thales zmax for GIS operations of our company. I've used the GPS until two of my men runned down by a crazy saudi driver while setting out centerline in one of our project here. the receiver got minor damage and was rehabilitated but the data collector Allegro CE was damaged internally so the programs was reinstalled by Sokkia co. here (where we bought the system). unfortunately Fast Survey was not completely installed thus my geoid files was missing. I've been assigned to office work for nearly three years until last month i was recalled to do GIS works in Al Bahah province. again i have my old (now) Thales Zmax system as equipment. i cannot locate now where the key (LPT) for the GNSS Studio, the GNSS Studio installation disk and i'm using the GPS without the Geoid Thing. I'm getting nearly enough precise levels within localization zone but when i get out of the zone the levels get berserk. i suspected my Lack of the Geoid Model for this... Any help is appreciable and please forgive me for taking some of the your time. God blessings, Happy Holidays.

I am not sure how this site is all put together but I know I can insert videos, pics, and promote the "causes" that I hope will help everyone know about Magellan Professional GPS, and more particularly the ProMark3 RTK and Static features and software to get others into GPS who could otherwise not afford GPS as a beginner. I can be of help to show them how to optimize on the features and make $$$ with it without going through as long of learning curve. Thanks to you and others, I am now enjoying the use of it on almost every project. I am hoping that David Lacy will get one so we can team up in the Tulsa area to get more people on the team and help Magellan get a good foothold in the Tulsa Area enough to where we might get into the sales of it locally. With my retail background (See I think we can all gain by covering all areas of the process between the regional sales person and the final user locally. The knowledge will help me and David build a better system and network that other PM3RTK users can share through the Surveyor's Coop and allow other individual surveyors a "try before your buy" rental and credit toward purchase system locally.
I am going to send you an email directly for the "Rest of the Story".

Fantastic - the advent of blogs that you can upload your pics and videos easily and freely are here and knowing you more personally, I think you will enjoy this form of media better than others. So keep spreading the good news knowing that other surveyors, like me, have your best interests in mind to promote a healthier grown and communication line for surveyors world wide.
