Yes, this article is kind of bragging. It's also trying to let those of you who are in the professional services business (like Engineers, Land Surveyors, Attorneys, Accountants, Home Builders, Business Consultants, etc) know that this online marketing method works.

The below image is a screen capture from Google from October 4th, 2013 which shows a Google search results page for "alta survey alabama." This is a very lucrative keyword, as you know. A typical ALTA survey will bring in anywhere from $3,000 to $7,000 for a local land surveyor in our area. You'll note that four websites that we have developed and leased to local surveyors ALL rank on the front page for this term.

local marketing for land surveyors - alta survey alabama

Notice also the amount of money that the other folks are spending for Adwords for this term - anywhere from $27 to $250 per DAY. So, are you getting your moneys worth from your local marketing efforts? If not, give me a call at (888) 316-4124.

AuburnBusiness.com, LLC is the culmination of many hours of education, at a significant cost, brought on by a terrific need to know more about marketing my own local business at the time, Pro17 Engineering, LLC. The education continues every day, as it should, in order to keep up with the ever-changing internet marketing process. For example, it was only a short time ago (June 2011) that Google+ came on the scene. Today it's one of the MUST do things you should have for your business.

Justin,

That's a great graphic and the bottom line is definitely correct - answer the questions that your searchers are asking. That's been the major way to get found (and it stick) for quite some time. I believe this is especially so for professionals like Land Surveyors and Engineers.

No harm in bragging... it's hard work to get here.  You've done an exceptional job and I must say have always been ahead of the game in this arena..even going back to 2008!  It is also a great reflection of the power in positive /professional online discourse and communication.  We listed one of your local sites Dadesville Land Surveying, in the Surveying Company Directory yesterday which will also help tremendously over time as a solid reputable mention.

I for one can't wait to see the wonderful things you'll do with the NEW LSU (coming out in less than a month). You'll have greater control over many aspects of the new platform.  Can't wait!

Again, great Job!  Keep it up!  I know you will..
