Any military surveyors out there?

The military surveyor rarely gets recognition for the excellent work they do in support of construction, mapping, and geospatial intelligence. If there are any active or prior military LSU members out there it would be nice to know what types of surveys you've been involved in and photos if you have them. I was a construction surveyor (82B) and engineer technician (51T) in the US Army. "Typically if Topcon Tools is asking for a specific geoid model it is looking for the same model used in the data collector. If this is the case you can simply copy the geoid model from your data collector to your PC - a directory of your choice.…"

These "hubs" are much more sophisticated than what we are used to seeing in the U.S.. The hubs are often made of a hard synthetic compound that are pointed for easier driving. the cap is made of some type of non-corrosive metal with a nail or tack…
