Cadastral & Construction, working with land developers....and specialising in surveying instruments as a hobby.....Expert in old and new survey instruments,construction,source of errors that are systematic.CONSULTING SURVEYOR ON THE RIGHT TOOLS FOR THE RIGHT JOB!
HOBBIES:Proof read the latest books on Survey instruments, latest by Dr John Rueger formerly of UNSW, now a survey author,found 4 errors in theory along with 32 spelling and gramatical errors.

Expert in all surveying instruments,construction and use, errors involved...Favorite text, front to back,

GPS studied at TAFE SIT and under Chris Rizos and Jinling Wang at UNSW undergraduate..
Least squares and statistics and programming under Fellow Birrong Boys High student, Dr Bruce Harvey....

Graduate member of the Institute of Surveyors 2002, New south wales, proceeding towards Registration...
Would love to find time to master Matlab & Simulink software so as to be able to write GPS algorithms and maybe do a Masters in this field so as to move out of the "Cadastral Club" and work for Trimble or Leica designing the latest GPS/GLONNAS SOFTWARE AND bubble headed boobies for you to set up when you go out into the field.
Fascination with along with experience, Tripod levelled and over survey mark, Laser Scanners, their incredible accuracy,
and fantastic billion point resolution to sub cm level, so far....Still rather pricy at the moment for many surveyors
needing them only for detail surveys...
