Seco provides a good tripod adapter for data collectors. I have mine that I can attach to the tripod head. It rotates 360 degrees. :)
My uncle and I made one out of a chunk of alum for his 48GX that hangs right off one of the strap loops for the tripod. He still uses it 10 years later with his recon.. He did get a can of flat black paint for it along the way at some point.. Makes it look powder coated. :D I think the alum was about 5 bucks at Menards.
These are tough times! I have got wooden home made tool boxes. Better than anything they sell at Home Despot!
Being frugal in the current economy has become a necessity rather than a hobby. Do you have some simple "plans" for the wooden data collector mount?
I made the box for the data collector myself...bet you couldn't tell...I'm pretty frugal :-)
much imagination. hehhehehe
Now that is funny.
Is it a manhole? Very ornate manhole?
what a nice BM...
