  That's good enough for some mapping applications. I don't know if other manufacturers like Leica has product of this class. Thank you for that info. :)

  well if the satellite reception is good,then you are looking at deci cm accuracy..ie +/- 30cm for the geo xH

  As product literature provides, Trimble GeoXH employs the VRS. We all know that DGPS provides superior output than the VRS based system. This is the reason why I wish to know based on your experience the magnitude of difference between the two systems. Thank you. :)

  The network of DGPS radiobeacons throughout the world is rapidly expanding and the signals that most radiobeacons transmit are free. There are also a number of satellite differential service provider options including subscription services you pay for.On the otherhand the mapping gps only uses the satellites
