Share 'Smartphone apps for replacement of data collector'
I don't know much about smartphones, not having coverage here discourages the purchase of one for me. It seems like with the right software (app), and if it has Bluetooth capability to communicate with the total station, it should be able to replace the data collector. The hardware part is bound to be much less expensive. Does my theory hold up?
