Where are you surveying?

Land Surveyor

My work is currently in the process of buying a new survey vehicle, and I am curious to see how other people have set their vehicle out for surveying purposes. I have attached a photo beneath of what I currently have, compared to what they are looking at. Personally, I think the new vehicle would be a disaster to work out of and I prefer a simple open back ute (truck, or whatever you call them in your country) with a hidden floor for tripods and some small tool storage in the back.
I'd love to see photos of other surveyors vehicles.

The covered tray in the back seems to be a pain in the neck to work from.

I'd love to hear any feedback.

Cool rig, I am afraid you are much more organized than I am.

David Bosshard RLS may be the perfect guy to talk to about this. Ā You'll find many photos of his work truck setupĀ in photos. Ā I imagine he has put a LOT of time into the methodical truck layout he uses today.

You'll also find many work truck photos at the bottom of this page forĀ survey photo categories
