Thanks alot guys, will check them out.
when you import the files, put them on a specific layer. Then 'create surface' from 'layer' I assume you will need a surface if you intend on calculating volumes. There should be youtube videos available to walk you through, otherwise, trial, error and the help menu are helpful too.
