Hi Sarkiss. You can use Trimble Business Center and you need Windows Mobile Device Center to connect your GPS controller to your laptop. Cheers!

You can generate as replied earlier, style sheets and als also the Trimble JOB XML file which you can use in the open source software to calculate 1d, 2d, 2.5d and 3d networks.

We use this software now days very often at German land surveying universities, because it's free and we its open JAVA code you can change things.
But with the converter or this software you can export it as a file readable for any CAD or land surveying program.
Except of AutoCAD I can only tell you Trimble Business Centre or Trimble Real Works (Advanced version of Trimble Business Centre, called TBC vor scans and 3d modelling)
