Hello Land Surveyors,

Robin Salter here. I'm a new member of LSU and the CMO of KWIPPED, a new startup company. KWIPPED is an online equipment rental marketplace that connects individuals and organizations that need to rent specialized commercial equipment with a network of pre-sourced suppliers that have equipment available to rent. KWIPPED supports 19 industries, but we have already seen a lot of activity in Surveying and Leica has signed on as one of our suppliers.

We're excited to get involved in the surveying space and we are looking to start a surveying blog on KWIPPED.com. The main focus of the blog is to provide information about equipment and the applications that equipment is used for. Because we are not experts in the field, we are hoping that some of you might be willing to write guest blogs for us. As I said, we're a startup, so we don't have deep pockets, but we could pay a small fee for each post. Plus, we will actively promote the post, the author and the company the author represents, through social media and other digital marketing channels.

If you're interested, please respond below.  Thank you.

I am very busy at the moment but I might try to contribute something. Thanks for the opportunity.

How to use Forums
Our forums on Land Surveyors United are here to be used as much for finding help with problems in the field as the are for you to express your opinions on anything that has to do with land surveying in general. Feel free to share anything that is on your mind, as long as it isn't meant to damage another member's reputation. Please keep it clean and help insure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being part of a community that grows together.

We are committed to allowing freedom of expression for all of our members, and that includes maintaining a safe space for people with opposing views to express themselves. We get posts from all over the country and even the globe, so needless to say, people come with different viewpoints on lad surveying practices and processes. We see this diversity and variety as a real strength-- dialogue and debate are an integral part of the educational process, as well as an important tool in exploring different sides of complex issues.

All Community Hubs inside the community have their own forum for asking specific questions to other surveyors, by location, equipment type, etc.
