I recently purchased a Spectra Precision LL200 Laser Level. It is a real nice smaller portable unit that I need for walking sometimes quite a distance into the woods in order to test soils. This is one of the older, smaller units that are not made anymore.
This is a unit that comes with a level already attached to a tripod, and 8 foot rod, and receiver that mounts to the 1" square, 8 foot rod. The receiver slides onto the rod, and moves up and down on the rod.
I sometimes need more than 8 feet of rod, and have a 1" x 2", 16 foot rod for my other survey gear.
I would like to get a rod clamp for that receiver. I need a Spectra Precision 1271 rod clamp. I assume that clamp is not made.
Any suggestions as to where I could get a 1271 rod clamp? Maybe someone out there has one they are not using? Perhaps there is another rod clamp that will work? The center of the "gimbel knob" that is affixed to the clamp, that attaches to the receiver needs to be at the same location as the center of the receiver, to be on the mark.
