Land Surveyor

Hello All,

I am trying to conduct some lights surveys in SCS900 using a total station, I typically used Trimble Access for this task with a GPS. When in Trimble Business Centre you can drag and drop the ".job" file from Trimble access and all the data is imported, this includes points, line work and the RAW data such a RTK vectors and precision ect..

There seems to be no way to export RAW data from SCS900, Importing the ".spj" file only brings in the points with E,N and ELV but no data about the point such as instrument spec, time, date, total station vectors, ect.

It seems like this should be a pretty straight forward that that Trimble have complicated, why why why do access and SCS900 have to work in such different ways!

Could someone please advice as to how I can bring in RAW data from SCS900 into TBC?

Thank you

    Dear Sir,

When you select the import export tab, select custom format. The box will open up with the formats that are available to use. You have to do this or else you only download the coordinates. Hope this helps.

    Dear Mr. Williams,

Ditto!!  ("We are going to play with MY ball or I'm gonna take it home.")

The best I've done in a similar situation is to import the RAW, but whenever I shoot a backsight I also treat it as a foresight so it will be included in the imported data.

I broke down and bought the other proprietory software and bounce between the two.

    Yuurs,

    JAC
