I have a relevant question.
I have a list of GPS control points. and I am trying to make a traverse using Toral station.
but each one of the points has a different scale factor.
isn't the scale factor suppose to be calculated from the distance between two points as in the question above?
in this case, should I measure the distance from the site and calculate a new scale factor or use one of the scale factors which is on the list or calculate an average of them?
Thanks in advance
Jim's looks good! here is a scale factor calculation tool I found as well that may help in the future http://webpages.charter.net/sinkwich/sdventure/html/sd_scalecalc2.htm
thanks for ur link
