In this forum, PLS is more likely to mean Professional Land Surveyor than Power Line Systems. But, if I don't know what it is, I guess that means I don't have experience in it.

    So, I'll move along.

You have a good point Keith. Ā Yes I am referring to:

PLS-CADDā„¢Ā (PowerĀ LineĀ Systems -Ā ComputerĀ AidedĀ Design andĀ Drafting)

I need PLS-CADD experts currently but, I am also interested in hiring and/or contracting experienced surveyors that are willing to work in the Permian Basin(West Texas and New Mexico) / Texas Gulf Coast(Houston-based) with several Oil Drilling / Petrochemical Operations and Electrical / Municipal Construction Projects.

I'd love to spend some time out in West Texas, preferably after August. And even then, I'm only interested in helping in the office, or from the truck with the air going full blast and a radio to give instructions.

I sound like a girl that I interviewed once who told me she was looking for "more money" than she was making now "and not working as hard or as much" as she was now.

By the way, my brother works as the Safety Manager for Cudd Energy in San Antonio. He was one of the most reckless kids I've ever known, and then went on to be a baggage handler. Remember that commercial about the gorilla slinging the luggage around? Well, now that gorilla is snubbing gas wells.
