NY LS exam part 1

I Am looking to take part 1 of the NYS LS exam, any recent takers? If so, any info would be appreciated. Also, do I need to fill out form 4 and 4a eventhough I only plan on taking part 1 at this time? The application fee is confusing too- $377 plus $70 or only $70 for part 1? I have sent multiple emails and waited on the phone for over 20 minutes on more than one occasion without ever speaking to a human! Typical state bureaucracy I suppose.. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

There are tidbits of information inside each of these groups for US States.  I would suggest reaching out to other surveyors inside the New York group and ask them any questions you might have specifically.  In the meantime, Ill see if I can dig up any NY practice exams which may exist...hope this helps..
