Land Surveyor
My name is Daniel Patterson I am a rodman hopefully soon to be iman at Pape Dawson Engineers. I'm looking to get my first level of CST taken care of . Would like to get some guidance and advice on passing the test. I'm hearing different opinions from co workers on the intensity of the test. I have moderate cad experience and have quickly picked up Leica instrument procedures in the short time that I have been employeed so far. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I kinda got the feeling from others that level 1 was easy to pass. I get a dollar raise out of it . So that would be nice . I have to pay for it if I don't pass. I'm not in a position to throw money away.

Study. And take in lots of information to take the test with you. Make sure to have formula cheat sheets to solve any problems and trig. Organize it and I used index tabs to make it easier to navigate to during the test. I passed level 1 without studying. I barely passed level 2 without studying. Had lots of info with me but ran out of time. Definitely going to have to study a lot more for 3rd level and have study guides better organized

Thank you Jaybird. I appreciate the positive feedback. I could use help or guidance on the cst . I rather not take it multiple times . Any help would be great
