Welcome and thank you for asking.  I'll ask the other surveyors but my suggestion, depending on what you are trying to do with the data, is to contact a licensed surveyor for the interpretation.   If you are just hoping to understand what it means, perhaps someone will be willing to help you with that.

I am trying to ask Charles some questions about which state this is from but it said I have to be friends first before I can send him anything? How is that done?

Hi David.. You just need to send him a friend request on his profile or simply ask here.

I think he is in FL , but next what is this desc. to. And what does SD stand for? . And also what is AFORESD ??? .  Section 26 ,but what Township and Range.

 Need more info Charles .

Thanks Billy,
Citrus Co FL and SD might be side.
AFORESD is "something" side ...maybe.
Ill get township and range ASAP.
Thanks!

Charles I am not real sure but I think I figured out much of it! The ones in Italic and underlined I could not figure out! Sorry!

Nice! work David,

I never seen SD for said, but it works. AL could be ( A Long ) and E'LY could be ( East Levy ) and  OR could be O to R Book or just OR Book . But why is Township and Range  not given, they should always be included. And LN  could also be East ( Line ) .

David I should know you,as many times I have been to get plats at the City of Arlington and as much work I have done there down thru the Years. I do not see how we have not met ,maybe we have. Small world . Keep in touch.

Billy

Charles,

"Said" is correct for "SD" and the "AL" is for "Along" and "ELY" is for "Easterly".You have to find the Sectional data first;Section 26,TWP?,RGE ?. Using the corner of the Section called out in the description;you work in the directions and at the distances that are given in order to draw the boundary of the property. You can use the coordinates given for the Section corner or use assumed datum.(i prefer to use the Sec coords). Also,it is best to draw it out on paper before doing so in Cad.I hope this helps you and in all your Surveing;"Make the Angles Right".
