Leica DNA CSV Formating

Hi all,

I am wonding the most efficient way people are using Lecia DNA data.

The company I am with, in my opinion, do not have an efficient work flow for processing data from a DNA.

My current thought is to export a CSV straight from the DNA and to have an Excel Macro to format and calculate RLs of intermediate shots and the level run.

I have not begun working on a VBA script, is there anyone who is currently doing a similar thing or has a better way of reducing data from DNA?

If anyone could email me their scripts would be appreciated. [email protected]

Excel macro for converting gsi with reductions

click the grey button in the sheet, select your dna gsi file and provided your level run is good the sheet works. Edit start or end elevations.

  • Why do we need to process leveling data.
  • Not a Surveyor

    Hello,

I would use Trimble Business Center.  Importing in native format works or CSV.  You can process level data from the major manufacturers (Leica, Topcon, and Trimble) all in the same software and perform leveling adjustment or incorporate into a larger network adjustment.

    You can download here: http://infogeospatial.trimble.com/TBC-v400-Download.html

    Cheers

    Hi,

The way I do it is exporting a GSI from the DNA and process on Leica Geo Office, from the softwares that I know this one is the most  complete for levelling processing.
Used to be a freeware called COGEO to process levelling that is has good as a excel macro.
