Where are you surveying?

Seeking Employment

I have one more question and that refers to the error E52. I see this error all the time when I turn on the level and attempt to test it. Does anyone know the problem here? Thank you.

Is this the level you are referring to?

    Leica 2002 Level

I was able to dig up a workshop user guide for the level with about 78 mentions of error corrections. Ā Perhaps this will help until someone comes along with a better answer. Ā You might like to quiz the guys over in the Leica Support GroupĀ on site for this as they all use Leica equipment.

      Hi Justin,

Ā  Yes that is the one. One of the surveyors at Underhill, bought this level on ebay. There is a large crack on the top of the level, it runs diagonally across the top of the instrument. I was able to peg test the level but it took 5 attempts but it did work. The next item is to see if the Giff12 or GIFF10 will work with the storage card. We tried to read some level data off the card and we got the 16 bit error, since all out new computers are 64 bit or 32 bit. Anyway thank you for your help. I have written to Leica Geosystems support but no answer yet. Bye.

      Ā

      Yours truly,
