Started our first drone project 9 acres on mountain side, used sub pilot, he kept messing up the upload of photos, then we find he did not get the over coverage we asked. May have to shoot some using RTK, but have to go back up to finish boundary anyway.
The problem is processing, which is data size based payment, and reprocessing gets expensive. Using Carlson 3D topo to clean up model and contour etc.
If I can work out kinks, will save at least 50% on topo costs.
Can hardly wait to apply to ALTA surveys.
I wonder if placing boundary of record is any different the GIS formats showing improvements and property lines, if no different, then is license needed?
Will a service pop up doing just that?
