Land Surveyor
Greetings everyone. I am looking for a solution for creating and saving custom coordinate systems in our Trimble R10 GPS system with TSC 3 controller .A lot of our work takes place in our town Stratford, Ontario,Canada where the city has a control network based on NAD83 Original. However, when I choose NAD83 coordinate system from the library in the job properties and check into a monument I am nowhere near to the published values. I have done a site calibration choosing UTM 17 North Zone, and I have keyed in the published values of three monuments, measured them then performed a site calibration checked into two other monuments with good results. I just don't know how to save this as a custom coordinate system,so I can just choose it whenever I do work here in town. Any advice, suggestions are welcome.
