Can't find baselines?

Have you ever given a Baseline to another Land Surveyor and that Surveyor calls you back because he can't find the baseline because of cheap marking paint?? Ever had a long project in which you have to create more than 50 PK stations for polygons and come back to begin to acquire data and can't find your own stations or have to constantly use spray paint again and again??

Let me introduce to you Survey Crew permanent paint, for exclusive use by Land Surveyors who don't WASTE TIME looking up lost baselines or PK nails on asphalt or concrete. This Prefabricated paint is guaranteed to last more than any spray paint because it is made to last up to three years in the worst conditions that any marking paint goes through, by Land Surveyors who use it everyday. The best part is that Survey Crew marking paint is CHEAPER and LONGER LASTING than any other marking spray paint on the market. Please visit surveycrewpr.com to confirm Survey Crew paint's durability and ask for a FREE SAMPLE to be delivered to you. Nothing lasts longer - GUARANTEED!!!!

  • People should be aware that there are at least two differnt kinds of marking paint:  lacquer-based and water-based.  There might be others, but these are the most common.  The water-based products are typically for use on existing public facilities or private facilities where long-lasting marks are not desireable.  The lacquer-based paint is much more permanent and will withstand weather and traffic far longer than the water-based stuff.  So, if the paint is disappearing faster than intended, it is probably by design and might be the wrong paint for your application.  Not everyone WANTS markings to last forever because, although surveyors tend to see the practicality of large orange circles, monumnet numbers, or stationing, the owners of the property upon which you are surveying probably don't feel the same way about them.  That is why they make paint that can be washed away with a pressure washer and/or that does not last longer than it is needed (usually).  It doesn't necessarily mean it is "cheap" paint.
